Library services during summer 2026

Library's service point and Lähde building

On Thu 18 June the Library service point will be closed at 4 PM. Lähde building will be open until 9 PM. At Midsummer from 19 to 21 June Lähde is closed.

Service and opening hours will be shorter from 22 June to 2 August:

• The Library service point will be open on weekdays from 11 AM to 5 PM and on Saturdays from 11 AM to 4 PM.
• Lähde building will be open on weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM, on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM and on Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM.
   

Orders from Kanavuori Collection Centre

From 22 June to 9 August, orders placed at the Collection Centre will be delivered twice a week. You will receive an arrival notification in your email as usual.
 

Interlibrary Loan Service

Interlibrary Loan Service will be closed from 6 July to 9 August. We will renew loans that are due during the closing time if there are no reservations on them.

You can pick up your interlibrary loans at the service point of the Library during service hours. You can also return yours loans to the service point.
 

Acquisition suggestions

Acquisition suggestions are normally processed within seven days, but during the summer the processing time may be longer.
 

Aalto Library

Aalto Library is closed from from 19 June to 2 August. In case you need to use the collections in Aalto Library, you can contact the janitors: vahtimestarit-seminaarinmaki@jyu.fi, tel. 029 4418069.
