The Library’s service point is located on the upper basement floor of Lähde. The book collections can be found on the lower basement floor and journal collections on the upper basement floor.

Lähde is open with restrictions in the evenings and on weekends.

  • On weekdays, the third floor is closed at 6 PM.
  • On Saturdays, the third floor is closed.
  • On Sundays, the second and third floors are closed.

Opening hours

Open as a self-service reading room according to the opening hours of the Main Building (Mon–Fri from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm). 
Please note: Aalto Library will be closed from 20 December 2025 to 6 January 2026. In case you need to use the collections, you can contact the janitors: vahtimestarit-seminaarinmaki@jyu.fi, puh. 029 4418069.
