The course equips students with practical tools and networks for study, employment, language learning, and civic participation in Finland.

It supports students in understanding how Finnish society functions and how individuals can actively participate in it. Combining academic research with practical perspectives through dialogue and reflection, students develop readiness for internships, work, and active citizenship in Finland.

Open Finland is implemented through 7 onsite sessions, that include 1-2 exploratory site visits to facilitate practical understanding of society, actors, and the culture.
