Opening hours of the buildings during weeks 26–31 and the closure of the MaD building starting from week 24

Summer opening hours

The buildings of the University of Jyväskylä are closed during weeks 26-31 (Jun 22 - Aug 2, 2026), excluding the following exceptions:

Seminaarinmäki

Library Lähde:

• Mon - Fri 8 am – 6 pm (3rd floor closed)
• Sat 9 am – 4 pm (3rd floor closed)
• Sun 11 am – 4 pm (2nd and 3rd floors closed)

Access to the Digital Services Helpdesk located on the 3rd floor of Lähde is available during the opening hours of the helpdesk.

Access to study facilities in the Main Building only with student key cards.

Mattilanniemi

Agora:

• Mon - Fri 8.30 am – 3.30 pm

All buildings are closed during Midsummer June 19-21, 2026.

The exterior doors of other buildings are closed. However, staff may move into and out of the buildings within their existing access rights. In case of any problems, please contact janitor services of the building.

Postal, as well as, car and transport services are limited during the above-mentioned times.

We ask our customers to take into account the limited service hours.

The MaD building will be closed from week 24

The exterior doors of the Mattilanniemi D building will be closed starting from June 8, and the university will begin preparing to discontinue the use of the building by the end of September. Staff members who use the building will be able to access the building according to their existing access rights.
