Plone Conference 2025 & PyCon Finland 2025 on October - Welcome!
Plone Conference, the annual gathering of the Plone community, has been a cornerstone of the open-source world for over two decades since 2003. Plone Conference 2025 is the 23rd occasion of the event and it will be held on October 13-19, 2025 in Jyväskylä, Finland.
Plone is a modern content management system, known especially for its security, usability and flexibility. Built on Python and React. 100% open source and free. Python is the most popular programming language in the world.
The University of Jyväskylä has been using Plone for over 20 years in various services, ranging from public websites and intranets to video and registration portals, online payment services, and numerous special applications. Other Plone users include, for example, the Brasilian government, German Aerospace Center, European Environment Agency and several esteemed universities around the world for example in Osaka and Bologna.
We expect around 150 international IT professionals from over 20 countries, along with as many Finnish participants as possible. The conference offers an excellent opportunity to learn, network, and collaborate with both new and experienced developers and IT professionals. The event is also suitable for students.
The conference will feature more than 70 presentations, with something interesting available at all times for every level of expertise and experience. Topics include case studies, front-end development, integrations, back-end development, accessibility, open source, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

PyCon Finland 2025
PyCon Finland is back for the first time in 10 years! This year the conference will include a special one day event, PyCon Finland on Friday 17 October 2025.
During the day, the talk selection and the keynote will be specially focusing more on Python, but offer a simultaneous track for less technical topics.
