Submit your program to Taidekatu this fall

Jyväskylä's Taidekatu runs from Kirkkopuisto to the Aalto2 museum center, covering a distance of approximately 1.2 km and spanning a few block lengths. Taidekatu is home to nearly a hundred different art and cultural attractions. The autumn season opening of Taidekatu will be celebrated on August 28-30, 2026. The event programme search is underway.

In previous years, the university has participated in the opening of the Taidekatu season by announcing various cultural programs such as concerts, guided tours, exhibitions, and short lectures.

Here you will find a table where you can already register your program. The 2026 program is on the first subpage, and the programs from previous years have been left on the other subpages so that you can view them if you wish.

More detailed schedules and dates will be published in the spring, along with a banner that you can also use in your own communications.

As in previous years, the Jyväskylä Taidekatu news page will serve as the main website for the event, where you can find the complete program. You can link it to your own communications. The page will open once enough programs have been collected from different participants. Updates and additions to the program selection will be accepted until the end of August.

Please note!
When filling in the city's event calendar, remember to check the "Jyväskylä Taidekatu" theme so that the event will also be visible on the Taidekatu map application on the day of the event.
