Take part in a Drive-In laboratory study as a test driver – participants will receive an S Group gift card

We are looking for people to take part in a Drive-In laboratory driving simulator study by the University of Jyväskylä. The purpose of the study is to examine driving behaviour and evaluate the reliability of the laboratory’s research methods. The studies are carried out in a laboratory located on the side of the MaA and MaD buildings’ parking lot.

We are looking for people to take part in a driving simulator study where driving behaviour is examined in the Drive-In laboratory of the University of Jyväskylä.

The study will take place in a laboratory located on the side of the parking lot of the University’s MaA and MaD buildings (Ahlmaninkatu 2). Participants will drive in a simulated road environment during the study. Data will be collected as the driving simulator’s log data.

All participants will be rewarded with a €15 S Group gift card. For tax purposes, we will need your name, address and personal identity code to give the gift card.

Requirements for participants:

  • Good overall health (no illnesses affecting driving ability)
  • Normal or corrected vision (glasses allowed)
  • Normal hearing
  • Valid driving license
  • You have not participated in a Drive-In lab before

We are looking for 40 drivers in total. The study will take approximately 30 minutes, and it can be done in Finnish or in English.

All contact information is stored separately from the collected research data. The study situation is fully confidential. Collected data will be stored securely and handled confidentially. Individual test drivers cannot be identified from the research results.
