Biography

Since February 2018, I have had the pleasure of working in the Centre of Excellence in Research on Ageing and Care (CoE AgeCare) in the sub-project New technologies, ageing and care, led by Dr Sakari Taipale. I am currently living in Tampere, Finland.

In my work, I explore what aspects are essential in lived care relations and what these aspects might mean for current and future practical caring phenomena. My research draws on the tradition of care ethics (as in the feminist moral philosophy), phenomenology, philosophies of embodiment, science and technology studies, as well as qualitative analyses of care of older persons.
