Biography
I am a PostDoctoral researcher in COHAB project (ERC funding) about multispecies cohabitation at the Univ. of Jyväskylä, Finland (2024--).
In May 2024, I received my Doctor Degree in Environmental Ethics at the Discipline of Practical Philosophy (Faculty of Social Sciences), University of Helsinki, Finland.
I worked for 6 year in the ValueBioMat project, funded by the SRC (Strategic Research Council), Research council of Finland (2019-2025) affiliated to the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi, Finland.
I am a reviewer for academic journals such as The Monist, Food Ethics and NoMe (Nordicum Mediterraneum).
I am in the Board of YHYS (The Finnish Society for Environmental Social Science) (2022--) and I collaborated with The Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law (NIEM) at the Arctic Center, University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland in two projects, related to Human Security and Food Security in the Arctic.
I was visiting lecturer at the University of Palermo (Italy) in 2018 and 2017 and in Aalto University (Finland) in 2025, 2024 and 2019.
In the past, I was visiting scholar at: Brown University, RI, in the USA; the University of Iceland in Reykjavik (Iceland); the University of Latvia, in Riga (Latvia) and the Université de Dijon (France).
I taught courses in Environmental Ethics at the University of Tampere, University of Helsinki and Nordhausen University of Applied Science (Germany).
I was a Board member at Nordic Summer University (NSU) network (2015-2016). I received the Master in Moral Philosophy degree at the University of Bologna, in Italy with the highest grade.
