Biography
I am a PostDoctoral researcher in COHAB project (ERC funding) about multispecies cohabitation at the Univ. of Jyväskylä, Finland (2024--).
In May 2024, I received my Doctor Degree in Environmental Ethics at the Discipline of Practical Philosophy (Faculty of Social Sciences), University of Helsinki, Finland.
I worked for 6 year in the ValueBioMat project, funded by the SRC (Strategic Research Council), Research council of Finland (2019-2025) affiliated to the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi, Finland.
I am a reviewer for academic journals such as The Monist, People and Nature (PAN), Food Ethics and NoMe (Nordicum Mediterraneum).
I am in the Board of YHYS (The Finnish Society for Environmental Social Science) (2022--) and I collaborated with The Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law (NIEM) at the Arctic Center, University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland in two projects: one related to Human Security and the other project on Food Security in the Arctic.
I was visiting lecturer at the University of Palermo (Italy) in 2018 and 2017 and in Aalto University (Finland) in 2025, 2024 and 2019.
In the past, I was visiting scholar at: Brown University, RI, in the USA; the University of Iceland in Reykjavik (Iceland); the University of Latvia, in Riga (Latvia) and the Université de Dijon (France).
I taught courses in Environmental Ethics at the University of Tampere, University of Helsinki and Nordhausen University of Applied Science (Germany).
I was a Board member at Nordic Summer University (NSU) network (2015-2016). I received the Master in Moral Philosophy degree at the University of Bologna, in Italy with the highest grade.
