Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer of Sports and Execise Medicine and a paediatric sports and exercise medicine researcher at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Jyväskylä. I also work for Institute of Biomedicine, University of Eastern Finland.

Research interests

My research interests include topics related to health and well being in the paediatric age-group. My main interest is in the relationships between physical activity, dietary factors, fitness, fatness, sleep, metabolic syndrome, and brain health among children and adolescents.
