Biography
Ehsan Marzban is a futures researcher. His main research interest is in alternative thinking and Scenario development with a particular focus on issues related to the social aspects of energy transition, energy governance, sustainability transformation, environmental sociology and management under uncertainty. He received a PhD in "Futures Studies" from the University of Tehran, Iran. Ehsan has several years of work experience in various interdisciplinary fields, both in and outside academia. Most of his research deals with the more inclusive aspects of complex socio-technical systems as well as policy-making issues. He currently works as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
