Biography

I am a PhD candidate in Education, currently working on my dissertation, Sharing the Night-Time Care in Families with Young Children: A Comparative Analysis. My research examines parenting, night-time care in families with young children in Finland, the United Kingdom, and Spain. Drawing on narrative methodologies, I explore how parents make sense of and negotiate night-time care in their everyday lives.

I am a member of the international research project The Parental Night Shift: Gendered Inequalities in Night-time Care. I have completed a total of six months of research visits at University College London (UCL) in 2024 and 2026.

In addition to my research, I have teaching experience in Educational Sciences through supervising Bachelor's theses and serving as a guest lecturer on advanced-level courses.

My work is funded by the Kone Foundation and the University of Jyväskylä.
