Biography

I work as a senior university lecturer and my expertise covers soil decomposers and decomposition processes, as well as invertebrates in general. My teaching covers basics of biological and environmental sciences, and especially species and nature knowledge and ecological research methods.

Research interests

My research focuses extensively on the effects of human activity on diversity, ecology and functioning of soil decomposer animals. The questions are, for example, how forestry and microplastics from agriculture change animal communities in the soil.
