Johanna Kiili

My recent research focuses on child and family social work, child welfare, family support services, and support family and support person services. I examine children’s participation in welfare services, with particular attention to questions of inclusion and inequality. I am especially interested in which children are included in service development and public debate, and how children living in vulnerable circumstances can be better supported in influencing their own well-being. My research seeks to inform professional practice, policymaking, and public debate, while promoting the position and participation of children and young people.
