Kaisa Kiuru

I work as a project researcher at the Department of Language and Communication Studies. I am currently working in a project called GBLS, which aim is to study learners of Swedish as gamers of a digital language learning game. My research interests include digital game-based language learning (DGBLL), peer interaction, learner experiences and language awareness. I am widely interested in how gamification can enhance learner motivation and engagement in the context of language learning and teaching.
