Biography

I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the HORIZON2020 FEWL project (Enhancing Research on the Integration of Formal Educational Programmes and Workplace Learning). My key areas of expertise are: international (im)mobilities, migration and learning processess, migrant students' learning at workplaces,  diversity management, development of further education trainings and competence frameworks as well as pedagogical innovations. 

Research interests

My research topics relate to the learning, teaching, and integration of adult migrant students in Finland and international mobility of different groups of professionals. I examine the role of formal and informal education and learning in the integration process as well as Currently, I am conducting a research on migrant students' learning at workplaces.In my recent projects I have utilised collaborative arts-based approaches.

My previous experience includes development of evidence-based quality assurance in international educational settings (e.g. development of a competence framework for the successful management of diversity in international educational settings, co-creation and implementation of pedagogical innovations, and research-based development of further education trainings).
