Biography

My background is a mixture of theoretical and numerical physics, with a focus on quantum.

Since 2026, I am currently enrolled in a PhD with the Quantum Programming & Algorithm team (QPA) within the Quantum Information and Computing group (QIC) of the University of Jyväskylä (Finland).

I completed my master degree at the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2025, with a focus on high energy theoretical quantum field theories, and numerical methods for both high and low energy physics.

Research interests

I study the branch of quantum computing that lies at the intersection between physics, mathematics and computer science. In particular:

  • I am now focusing on distributed quantum computing, resource theory of entanglement and magic, quantum error correction, qubit mapping and routing.
  • I would be interested in designing efficient algorithms for real-case research applications, spanning from high energy physics to molecular dynamics.
