Biography
I am a publishing coordinator in the publishing support team at the Open Science Centre (OSC) of the University of Jyväskylä. My team guides researchers in various areas concerning open scientific publishing.
My tasks, in particular, include the coordination and development of university units’ publishing activities. I also coordinate and develop the open online publications series JYU Studies, JYU Reports and JYU Dissertations published by the OSC.
I have an MA degree in Communication Studies (JYU 2004) and before my current work, I have worked as a publicist, journalist and researcher. I am particularly interested in scientific communication, and in my current work I especially enjoy guiding researchers and research groups in improving the openness and societal impact of their publishing activities.
