Research groups

Research group

Porous materials and molecular capsules

Manu Lahtinen´s research group focuses on porous metal-organic framework materials (MOFs) and molecular capsules for application areas like carbon capture, hydrogen production and storage and recovery processes on circular economy applications..

Projects

H2POSSE
Project

Hydrogen Production Optimization, Storage Systems, and Ecosystem development (H2POSSE)

The project develops solutions for the hydrogen economy, especially for the production and storage of green hydrogen, in Central Finland, and actively works to develop the regional hydrogen economy ecosystem, bringing a particular R&D perspective there.
Project

Hydrogen Production and Storage as an Enabler of Industrial Renewal in Central Finland -HyPER

The HyPER subproject at the University of Jyväskylä is investigating cost-effective hydrogen storage materials and developing carbon, MOF and zeolite based materials for hydrogen storage.
