Research interests

I am a university researcher and an adjunct professor (docent) at the University of Jyväskylä. My research focuses include computational heterogeneous catalysis and molecular catalysts, hydrogen storage, and diffusion in porous materials. I employ density functional theory, enhanced sampling methods and machine learning tools in my work.

The project develops solutions for the hydrogen economy, especially for the production and storage of green hydrogen, in Central Finland, and actively works to develop the regional hydrogen economy ecosystem, bringing a particular R&D perspective there.
