Biography

My research focuses on the physiology of physically active premenopausal women. I am particularly interested in androgen hormones and their associations with body composition and physical performance. In addition, I study the effects of the menstrual cycle and hormonal contraception on these factors. My Master’s thesis in Sports and Exercise Medicine examined changes in body composition and gut microbiota in fitness athletes during the competition season.
