As a university teacher of psychology and psychogerontology, I am involved in the teaching, planning and development of these subjects. I teach psychological research methods in the basic studies of psychology and the psychology of ageing, i.e. geropsychology, as well as work and organisational psychology in the subject studies. I am responsible of the recognition of prior learning in psychology. In gerontology, I teach psychogerontology in both basic and subject studies. Psychology of ageing was also the subject of my doctoral research that focused on subjective age identification.

- Contact person of the Erasmus funded Staff Visit Weeks at the Jyväskylä Open University.
Researcher in the following international collaboration projects:
- Artificial Intelligence anD Large Language Models In educaTion (2023-PCOOP-ENGO Partnerships for Cooperation in the fields of education and training and youth - European NGO) that will be active in years 2024-2026.
- ONE Meeting - project that was active in years 2020-2022. The project aimed to increase environmental knowledge, digital communication, and collaboration competences of higher education leaders and staff that participated in international collaboration projects.
- Erasmus+ KA3 project on European Short Learning Programmes (SLPs) for continuous professional development and lifelong learning was active in years 2018-2020. Currently I am a member of EADTU EMPOWER Continuing Education and Short Learning Programmes expert pool.
