Digital Portfolios in Education

Description
Digital portfolios are children's own digital collection of documents of their learning, development and interests. Our latest research focuses on developing, testing and analyzing implementation of digital portfolios and their use in early childhood education.

The research includes investigating the present state of digital portfolio work, collecting and sharing best practices to the field. In addition, focus of interest is on what kind of requirements are set on the learning environment by the use of digital portfolios.

The research is based on knowledge of the basic principles and effects of digital portfolio work and pedagogical practices, especially on the innovative use of ICT.
