Report on career management skills

The project for promoting career management skills (CMS) laid the groundwork for development of a national framework for career management skills and proposed actions for fostering and monitoring CMS development in different user groups.

Project description

The report on career management skills (CMS) produced a descriptive synthesis of the descriptions, definitions, and frameworks of career managament skills based on national and international literature. The report also examined different options for measuring CMS development. The report provides concrete suggestions for developing a framework for career management skills in Finland. The project is part of a national development project for lifelong guidance co-ordinated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (TEM) and the KEHA Centre, and it was implemented at the Finnish Institute for Educational Research.
