Research group description
To understand the processes related to learning difficulties, and why some children learn without any problems and why is learning difficult for some children, how learning difficulties affect reading in current digital environments, and what is the role of environmental factors. In particular, to understand neurobiological risk factors or endophenotypes for developmental dyslexia and other learning difficulties/ neurodevelopmental dysfunctions, and how deficits in processes like auditory and speech perception, visual and audiovisual processing and attention contribute to learning difficulties. My aim is also to understand well targeted remediation/ training approaches.
