Researchers are looking for both music fans and musicians to share what makes concerts meaningful and special.

The University of Jyväskylä’s research in education was ranked 126–150 in the Times Higher Education – World University Rankings by Subject, which compares research-oriented universities all over the world. The ranking was the same as last year.

Leena Paakkari, a new professor at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, investigates children’s and adolescents’ health, health behaviour and related inequality issues.

Ilia Sokolovskii has won the shared Gust. Kompan Prize for his 2024 doctoral thesis in chemistry. Sokolovskii developed a multiscale molecular dynamics model, which helps us understand how energy transfer in organic materials can be improved.
