University Management

The Rector of the University of Jyväskylä is Jari Ojala. Marja-Leena Laakso is Vice Rector for Education, Kaisa Miettinen is Vice Rector for Research and Pasi Raiskinmäki is Vice Rector for societal interaction.

The University Board has seven members. The Board’s duties include, for example, selecting the rector and determining the objectives of the University operations and finances, the strategy, management principles and operating regulations.

The University Collegium has 30 members, who all have personal deputies

The University Management Team of the University of Jyväskylä includes the rectors, the Finance and Service Director and the deans of faculties.

The Finance and Service Director’s task is to support education, research and other activities at the University.
