12:40 Perfect Harmony: Exploiting human and artificial intelligence to analyse human movement. Neil Cronin
Abstract. In this talk I will cover 3 main topics related to AI: Using cameras to quantify various aspects of movement; Applications of generative AI; and Citizen Science. I will also explore the role of humans in the future of AI: Are we aiming for a fully autonomous future where we can sit by the pool all day while robots and computers do all the work, or are there cases where human intelligence is more valuable than even the 'smartest' computers? No previous knowledge of AI is assumed, and I will focus on concrete applications rather than abstract mathematics.
