Symposium
Symposium consists of either three individual presentations and a discussion OR four individual presentations (i.e., total four speakers in symposium). Please bear in mind that the symposium presenters should be from at least two different countries.
Overarching symposium abstract is up to 250 words, and it informs about the objectives of the symposium, its scientific importance and coherence of individual contributions. Proposals for each symposium presentation consist of a summary of up to 500 words that includes the aims, methods, results, and the theoretical and practical significance of the study. A list of references is not required in either of the abstracts. Figures, images or tables cannot be included in the abstracts.
Instructions for submitting a symposium
The symposium organiser (i.e. “contact person” on abstract submission form)
- Submits the overarching symposium abstract (250 words).
- Shares the title of the symposium to all symposium contributors.
- If the symposium includes discussion, the symposium organiser adds discussant’s name to space provided (ONLY FOR Symposium overarching abstract: Write here the name of the chair and discussant) while submitting the overarching symposium abstract (E.g., Discussant: John Smith).
- If the organiser is not the chair, the symposium organiser adds the name of the chair to space provided (ONLY FOR Symposium overarching abstract: Write here the name of the chair and discussant) while submitting the overarching symposium abstract (E.g., Chair: John Smith).
Each symposium contributor
- Submits their own individual symposium presentation abstract (500 words).
- Confirms the symposium title from the the symposium organiser.
NOTE! Each symposium will be compiled based on the symposium title. We kindly ask you to pay close attention to the title while submitting your contribution via the submission system.
Paper
Paper proposal (oral presentation) consists of an abstract of up to 500 words that provides information about the aims, methods, results, and the theoretical and practical significance of the study. A list of references is not required. Figures, images or tables cannot be included in the abstracts.
Individual papers will be grouped into thematic sessions of four presentations.
Poster
Poster proposal consists of an abstract of up to 500 words that provides information about the aims, methods, results and the theoretical and practical significance of the study. A list of references is not required. Figures, images or tables cannot be included in the abstracts.
