Award in digital pedagogical development to Judit Háhn

Judit Háhn’s presentation “Crossing borders without travel: Virtual exchange practices for students” was awarded in the international competition organised by the TINEL project. The competition was open for higher education institutions and searched for the best practices for accessibility in online and remote learning.
Háhn’s implementation offers an opportunity for international student exchange in a virtual learning environment. At the same time, it enables international cooperation and mobility also for those students for whom it is not possible to travel because of practical reasons.
In addition to Judit Háhn, Adithya Varadarajan (Aalto University), Rune Andersen (University of Agder) and Mikko Romppanen (HAMK) were awarded. The awarded proposals were presented in the Best Practices in Universal Design for eLearning in Higher Education conference. The international conference organised at the University of Jyväskylä in August is part of the TINEL project funded by Erasmus.
