Changes in Library services during Christmas time
The opening hours of the library's service point and Lähde building will be shortened between 19 December 2025 and 6 January 2026. There will be delays in orders from the Collection Center, as well as exceptions to the interlibrary loan service.

Exceptions to the service hours
- On Friday, 19 December, the Library's service point will be open until 6 PM. At the weekend the service point will be closed.
- During Christmas week (week 52), the service point will be closed.
- During New Year's week (week 1), the service point will be open on weekdays from 11 AM to 4 PM.
- On Monday, 5 January, the service point will be open from 11 AM to 4 PM. At Epiphany, 6 January, the service point will be closed.
Exceptions to the opening hours of Lähde building
- On Friday, 19 December, Lähde will be open until 6 PM. At the weekend Lähde will be closed.
- During Christmas week (week 52), Lähde will be open from Monday to Tuesday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
- During New Year's week (week 1), Lähde will be open on weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM.
- On Monday, 5 January, Lähde will be open from 8 AM to 6 PM. At Epiphany, 6 January, Lähde will be closed.
Orders from Kanavuori Collection Centre
Orders from the Collection Centre will not be delivered during Christmas week (week 52). During New Year's week (week 1) and Epiphany week (week 2) orders are being delivered less frequently than usual. You will receive a notice of arrival by email.
Interlibrary Loan Service
Interlibrary loan service will be closed during Christmas week (week 52). During New Year's week (week 1), there will be limitations in the service.
You can pick up your interlibrary loans at the service point of the library during service hours. You can also return yours loans to the service point.
Aalto Library
