Data collection for ELNE 2026–2027 is underway – join us in sharing practices and research on collaborative leadership!
ELNE is a European network operating within the framework of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme, which promotes collaborative leadership in the field of education. The network comprises over 70 partner organisations from 27 countries, and its aim is to develop inclusive, equitable and well-being-centred learning communities, as well as to strengthen the capacity of various stakeholders to influence European education policy.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking examples of inspiring practices and research that illustrate how collaborative leadership is put into practice at different levels of education and from the perspectives of different stakeholder groups.
Participants may include, for example:
- early childhood education providers
- teachers and trainers
- pupils and students
- parents and families
- heads of educational organisations
- other teaching staff
- employers’ organisations
- policy-makers and other stakeholders in the education sector
Research or practice does not need to use the concept of collaborative leadership as such. Perspectives relating to, for example, participation, agency, shared leadership, collaborative projects or education for democracy are also of interest.
Why should you take part?
All applications will be assessed by the ELNE network’s research committee. The selected practices and studies will be published in the ELNE Journal in February 2027, giving them wide visibility within the European field of education. Furthermore, the results of the data collection will be used to draw up education policy recommendations for the European Commission. The recommendations will be published in spring 2027, so by taking part, you can play a part in shaping the future of education in Europe.
Apply by 16 November 2026.
