Separate views for staff and students
The view of the application has been clarified so that the views of the staff and the student have been separated. Now you will only see the features that are relevant to you in the app. The student or staff role is automatically updated in the app. If you are both a student and a staff member, you can choose which role you want to use the app in at the top of the app's menu. You can also explore the app as a visitor, but then only some of the features are visible in the app.
Menu personalization
Do you use your library card the most in MyJYU or do you browse, for example, uMove's lesson descriptions? You can now arrange the app's menu in the order that suits you best! You can change the order of the menu by pressing and holding the title in the menu and dragging it to the desired location.
Notifications and notification bar
The app now has notifications enabled. Reports are used, for example, in situations that require a quick reaction or in situations where the information must be made known to the entire university community as quickly as possible. Notifications are managed through communications, and notifications are sent only on the most important topical topics. A notification bar has also been added to the application, where information about important issues or matters that require reacting is highlighted.
Current highlights (for students)
The front page of the students now shows current highlights of student news. By clicking on the headline, you can read the news in question on our website. For the time being, the feature is only available to those who use the app in a student role.
In addition to new features, the appearance of the application has been updated, information security has been improved, and other technical update work has been carried out that is invisible to the user.
Remember to update your app!
Remember to update your app regularly to take advantage of new features. If the app shows old information in a section, update the data through the Settings menu.

The MyJYU application is constantly being developed. Next, a feature will be developed for the application through which students can view and manage the space reservations they have made.
