I work as a University teacher of Finnish as a second language at the Centre for Multilingual Academic Communication (Movi). My responsibilities include teaching Finnish to degree students and international staff, as well as developing Finnish language instruction. I am also involved in the development of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Early Childhood Education (EarlyEdu), a functionally bilingual programme scheduled to launch in autumn 2027, with a particular focus on the practical training periods.
In addition to my work at Movi, I contribute to the development of more language- and culturally aware university education within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am involved in developing admission pathways for applicants who have studied Finnish as a second language (S2).
