Biography

I am a data scientist working at the intersection of optimization, explainable AI, and data-driven decision support. My research focuses on building practical, transparent systems to support real-world decision-making in complex domains such as forestry, healthcare, and manufacturing. I currently lead the Forest Biodiversity Use Case in the EU-funded BioDT project and co-develop open-source decision support tools under the DESDEO framework.

Research interests

My research focuses on data-driven decision support, combining optimization and explainable AI to build practical tools for complex planning tasks. I apply these methods in domains such as forest management, sustainability, and healthcare.
