Multiobjective Optimization Group

Enabling better decision making in the presence of conflicting objectives inspires the Multiobjective Optimization Group of the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. The group headed by Prof. Kaisa Miettinen (since 1998) is particularly known for developing interactive methods and software for multiobjective optimization. The group applies them in diverse areas of life such as healthcare, engineering, logistics, and sustainable forest management.
