
Danial Hooshyar
Biography
Dr. Danial Hooshyar is an Associate Professor of Educational Data Mining at the School of Digital Technologies, Tallinn University, and a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Jyväskylä. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence for Education, with a particular interest in adaptive educational systems. He is involved in several projects, including leading a five-year project funded by the Estonian Research Council, "Hybrid Regulation of Learning Using Open Learner Models: Towards Supporting Students in Meaningful Learning." This project brings together a diverse team of psychologists, educational scientists, computer scientists, and software developers. He has contributed to various international conferences and journals, including serving as the chair of the AI for Education track at ACM SAC and as an Associate Editor for Computer Applications in Engineering Education.
