Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer of Evolutionary Genetics in the Department of Biological and Environmental Science. I serve as Deputy Head of the Department responsible for education (since 2018) and I am active in both teaching and teaching development.

Research interests

How is the information of genes translated into observable individual variation? My research integrates methods from different fields of biology to clarify these mechanisms and their importance to adaptation and divergence. This research will help when predicting the potential responses of and constraints on organisms exposed to rapid environmental change.
