Population and Evolutionary Genetics

The group shares a broad interest in molecular ecology, population genetics, phylogenetics, and the evolution of development. We use a variety of genetic and genomic tools to understand adaptation of populations to different environments and mechanisms underlying phenotypic divergence.
A series of pictures showing 1) study organisms of the research group; a polychaete worm and microscopic image of a protist parasite and 2) data generated by the research group; output from ddPCR and a graph showing parasite prevalence over time at two study sites.
