Previously worked in The Centre of Excellence in Game Culture Studies (CoE Gamecult, Academy of Finland).
I work at the intersection of cultural and media studies, tourism studies, cultural geography, game studies, and fan studies. My research focuses on interconnections between media, culture, language, and place, with topics including media tourism, localised meaning-making in online communities, transcultural media production and reception, digital literary cultures, and online fandoms.
