Julia Turok

In SOLKI I work as a doctoral researcher. In my dissertation, I examine the language skills of Finnish-speaking and bilingual (Russian and Finnish) primary school children and their learning of English using a computer-assisted learning game. The focus of the research is on phonological and orthographic processing skills and their computer-assisted training in English. I am a translator and a psychologist by my background education. Topics related to multilingualism and foreign language learning seem very interesting to me.
