Biography

I currently work as a senior lecturer (clinical psychology) and academy research fellow (PI) in the Research Council of Finland funded research project PROCEED: Process-Based Competence Evaluation Method to Establish Evidence-Based Dissemination Practices (2024-2028). I am also adjunct professor (title of docent) of clinical psychology, especially psychological interventions.

My research is focused on examining the effectiveness and processes of change in psychological interventions and psychotherapy. Some of my special research interests include individual differences in benefitting from brief interventions, the effect of therapist competence on treatment outcome, technology-based intervention delivery methods and integrating psychological skills-training in teaching practices.
