Biography

I currently work as a senior lecturer (clinical psychology) and academy researcher (PI) in the Research Council of Finland funded research project PROCEED: Process-Based Competence Evaluation Method to Establish Evidence-Based Dissemination Practices (2024-208).

I am also adjunct professor (title of docent) of clinical psyhcology, especially psychological interventions.

Research interests

My research is focused on examining the effectiveness and processes of change in brief interventions based on cognitive behavioral therapy, especially acceptance and commitment therapy. Some of my special research interests include individual differences in benefitting from brief interventions, the effect of therapist competence on treatment outcome, technology-based intervention delivery methods and integrating psychological skills-training in teaching practices.
