Research group description
Our research group is focused on investigating individual and contextual characteristics and behaviors that contribute to well-being and the processes of change that underlie therapeutic, adaptive change in psychological interventions and psychotherapy. We specialize in using the theoretical framework of process-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapies and contextual behavioral science to approach well-being and suffering with precision and scope. We have a particular interest in developing methods and practices of evaluating mental health professionals' competencies and competency development. We aim to support efforts to improve training practices in the field of intervention science.
Current collaboration
We welcome collaboration to expand the scope of current research and strengthen efforts to understand and promote well-being. We are actively involved in research projects that integrate a focus on key processes of change in intervention research designs as well as research projects that aim to improve understanding of factors and processes that contribute to well-being in clinical and non-clinical settings and populations.
