My interests include classroom interaction, the role of technology in interaction, multimodality in (peer) interaction, and digital games in language learning as well as interaction in hybrid teaching and learning contexts. In the HyPaC project, we examine the possibilities that participants have for participation and collaboration in hybrid settings in higher education.
Research interests
I draw on multimodal conversation analysis to investigate social interaction in classroom contexts. I focus on peer interaction around and via technology, and my current interests include the intertwinement of technology and embodiment, collaborative practices to solve interactional trouble, as well as engagement and participation in mobile-supported peer interaction.
