Research interests

Dr Montse Ruiz's research expertise lies in the individualized assessment of athletes' functional and dysfunctional emotions, motivation and other states associated with athletic performance. Her recent research examines the relationships between coach-created motivational climates, emotions and other performance-related experiences in competitive sports.
