Research interests
In my PhD dissertation I examine teachers' intercultural professionalism. In the first sub-study I focused on teachers' views on cultural diversity; in the second sub-study I analysed interviews with preparatory education teachers about teaching and supporting newly arrived migrant students. I am particularly interested in cultural and language awareness in education, and in how schools can promote equity and a sense of belonging among students from diverse backgrounds.
