As of January 2026, I have been serving as Head of Department at the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy. I am a full professor of Social and Public Policy and have held visiting positions at the universities of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Udine (Italy). As well as teaching and administrative tasks, I am supersing PhD theses and leading a research group of The Future Care Work (CAREFUTURE).
My research focuses on the new societal challenges created by digitalization, particularly issues related to inequalities and wellbeing. I examine how digitalization shapes social relationships, the everyday lives of older adults, and their use of services. My work also explores how digital technologies transform care practices and working conditions in care of older people.
