Research group description

Mission

Our mission is to:

  • Develop new methods in computational data analysis and imaging that are both powerful and resource-efficient.
  • Open new application areas through interdisciplinary projects piloting novel sensors and technologies to real scenarios.
  • Bridge emerging technologies and application domains by creating solutions that work across different sensors, devices, and data sources.
  • Educate and inspire the next generation of researchers and professionals by integrating research-driven teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strong analytical foundations.
  • Collaborate with society and industry to ensure our research has real-world impact—from medical diagnostics and climate resilience to technological innovation.

Impact

CoDAI will strengthen the university’s research excellence, create new educational opportunities, and contribute to solving global challenges by combining computational science, machine learning, and imaging technologies into one coherent effort.
