Physical AI and Wireless Systems (PAWS)
Overview
Research group description
Autonomous Cyber-Physical Systems
Autonomous cyber-physical systems are systems that tightly integrate information technology with the physical world, enabling autonomous operation and intelligent decision-making. In these systems, the computational component (the cyber part) monitors, analyzes, and controls the physical world (the physical part), allowing them to operate and make decisions without continuous human supervision.
Wireless Embedded Systems
Solutions based on resource-constrained devices and wireless communication technologies can form autonomous sensor networks that enable monitoring operational environment and local data processing. These resource-constrained devices, such as sensor nodes and IoT devices, can communicate with each other and interact with services via the Internet. Based on data collected from the physical world, the devices in the system—either independently or cloud support — process data and act on their environment.
