Contact information of the Department of Physics

The duties of a head of department are defined in the University of Jyväskylä regulations 16 §. To support his/her work, the head of department names a management team that has an advisory role. The physics department management team (generally referred to as "board") meets usually on the first Friday of each month. If there are some issues that staff members would like to bring to the attention of the management team, they can contact board members before the meetings. In the absence of the Head of the Department, the Vice Heads will work as acting Head of the Department in his place. Assistant Marjut Hilska is a secretary of the management team.
